There are a lot of myths that exist in pop culture concerning the consumption of alcohol and its effects on people. A few of these myths are reasonable but the majority of them are completely ridiculous. These myths have become part of the aura surrounding alcohol consumption and often have a negative effect on people.
The first myth of the day to attack is the one that people have adopted concerning the alcohol content of their beverage. Many people feel that if they want a drink with less alcohol in it, they should have a glass of wine. This is a ridiculous claim. Regardless of what a person drinks, they are likely to get a comparable amount of alcohol. This is because a standard drink is a) 12 ounces of regular beer, b)5 ounces of wine, or c) one and a half ounces of 80 proof distilled spirits, either straight or in a mixed drink. If an individual has 12 ounces of wine rather than 12 ounces of beer, they will have more alcohol, but, on standard drinks, the overall amount of alcohol is very close.

Irritable bowel syndrome can be caused due to bad eating habits as well as stress. Bad eating habits can lead to IBS syndrome but however the main culprit is stress that seems to be related to many aspects of a person’s health.
Irritable bowel syndrome has many symptoms, including back pain and bowel dysfunction. Securing your home is important today. With the rising number of home invasions, you need to find the best possible way to ensure that your home remains secure. Surprisingly, you can do this through a very simple method. Installing a home security system will help if criminals decide to target your home, but another method can keep them from targeting your home in the first place. Using security signs and stickers around your home and prominently displayed in your windows will give criminals pause.
Most home invasions are planned affairs. Criminals look for homes that have the right combination of elements. Many times, those elements have less to do with the contents of the home than they do with obvious security measures. Even if your home is not protected by a security system, a few signs and stickers will go a long way towards making a crook choose another home.

Your baby will get sick every once in a while. Even thought as parents we don’t like it, it is a part of building their immune system. But, how to chose humidifier for baby? Should you go with cool mist or warm mist humidifiers? What is the difference between the two?
In the recent years Doctors have been recommending a cool mist humidifiers. The main reason for this is that there is a lot less danger of having injuries and humidifier overheating. And the babies safety is the most important.
Now it is important to state that warm mist humidifiers may be a little more effective than cool mist because warm steam kills the bacteria in the air. Also, most of the cool mist humidifiers need to use distilled water and you will need to change filter at least once a year. There are pros and cons to both.

The following was spoken during a recent funeral service held for my very special and very loved Aunt, Darlene.
“When my Aunt unexpectedly passed away just recently, my daughter remarked how sad it was but how happy she was for her that she got to be in Heaven. I thought about how much simpler the world would be if we could always view things through the eye’s of a child.
Because then the sudden passing of someone loved by so many, and the injustice and shock that consumes us would all disappear. For we would see the world as a better place, having gotten to share it with someone so special and we would rejoice at the thought of her dancing in the clouds and praising the Lord.

Window dressings are all important in a modern house. So much time and money is spent on modern decoration and design that when it comes to decorating and furnishing your windows it can be difficult to know which way to turn to keep the desired feel of the room.
Many different styles of window furnishing are available on the market today, there is the old fashioned curtain or drape which is available in many different styles of textile, weight and colour and then there is the more modern approach to window fashion, window blinds.
